Without Karen Medved guiding the way, and often tackling serious problems instead of bouncing them back to me, I don't think the sale would have gone through.
Right from the beginning she help me set a good price which I was very happy with (in other words I didn't think I was under selling the house just to get a sale) and then she turned the situation into getting above asking price.
I can't think of any changes that I would have made during our transaction. I really believe after having interviewed several agents, that if I hadn't chosen Karen Medved, I would still be trying to sell the house. Erin Joseph, part of Karen's team backed up the service too. She did things I never expected from an agents office. I couldn't be there when it was crucial someone was, and Erin often filled in. This meant the sale process never slowed down.
I interviewed Karen because a neighbor made me promise to meet her which I did. Furthermore, I had seen Karen's signs around the neighborhood increasing to where I felt confident that she would know the market. However, it was her manner when I met her that clinched the deal. | How would you describe your experience working with Karen Medved It was a pleasure working with Karen. The overall experience was easy and stress free. Karen lead the entire process by developing a strategy for selling our home and sticking to the overall plan when negotiating with prospective buyers. This ultimately led to the house selling in seven days at full-asking price. We were also very satisfied with Karen's high-level of communication in that we were never left hanging wondering what was going on. Was there a specific reason behind your choosing Karen Medved as your realtor We initially chose Karen after driving around our neighborhood and seeing her name and face on a number of real estate signs and bus stop benches. Karen also gave us a sense of comfort when we interviewed her not only because of her confidence but also because of her level of experience and overall knowledge of the neighborhood. Because this was such a new experience for me, I had to rely totally on everything she advised me to do. For those needing a fantastic realtor in the Los Angeles area, look no farther! We recently sold our home in the Hollywood Hills and listed it with Karen Medved of Keller Williams. Having been a realtor in Los Angeles for over four years before moving to Canada, I was very aware of what makes a good agent. That said, I can’t praise Karen Medved enough.
First of all, she listens! Not only is she a wonderful person to deal with, but she really listened to us and our needs. Too many realtors (in my opinion) like to hear themselves talk, when they should be listening. Not Karen.
Secondly, was her promptness in getting things done. Never did we have to ask her about certain aspects of the listing, a great comfort to us, especially since we were conducting the sale of our home from thousand of miles away.
Next is her expertise. In a market where sales are down 35%, we sold our home in a matter of hours! This clearly showed not only her expertise in pricing the property correctly, (we got our asking price,) but also exhibited her excellent reputation in the Los Angeles real estate community; our buyer’s agent came to the broker’s open because of her familiararity with Karen and her great listings.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, is Karen’s professionalism before, during and AFTER the sale! She handled everything incredibly smoothly. Without going into detail, let me just say that even after we closed, she was still working for us. A couple of issues arose and even though she didn’t have to, and when other agents would most probably have said, ‘Hey, that’s not my problem’, Karen simply took care of it.
